Do you feel health care is generally best addressed through a free-market system or by a government-run system?
Health care is best addressed in free market run system than a government run system.
Government run systems are controlled by rules and regulations of the government and licensing authority. Eventhough this systems provide same standard of care at low cost, there is a long queue for elective procedures.
Where as in free market health care there is minimal or no government regulation. In this system health care providers are free to provide services without satisfying strict regulatory standards and requirements. Here health care providers do not need to comply with restrictive government licensing. Free market health care has both advantages and disadvantages in terms of cost, quality, and efficiency of health care services and the health care system. Higher costs lead to lower access to health care services. With higher costs, higher quality of health care is not guaranteed. HpwHowe there's no long waiting for planned or elective procedures. Immediate attention is given to patients.
