An adolescents ages between 13 to 17th years of their life.Here they may be anxious to approach a healthcare professional even when they are able to make certainly a wise decision with proper guidance and support. A client exhibiting a severe anxiety usually presents with nervousness, feeling insecure,lack of eye contact,excessive perspiration, tachycardia, tachypnea,confusion .

The therapeutic approach to treat this patient

  • Cognitive behavioral therapy helps them by providing support and identifying the root cause and helping them to come out
  • Medication like antianxiety, antidepressants are more effective if symptoms are very severe
  • Cranial electro stimulator stimulates the brain by sending micro pulse wave
  • Other:relaxation techniques, breathing exercises

These approaches can enable the client to come out of the problems gradually but steadily and prevent the rate of relapse.
