Answer #1

Depreciable asset cost = $790,000.

Salvage value = $15,000

Useful life = 15,000 units

Units produced in the current year = 2,000

Depreciation per unit = (Depreciable asset cost - Salvage value)/Useful life

= (790,000 - 15,000)/15,000

= 775,000/15,000

= $51.6666666667

Yearly depreciation = Depreciation per unit x Units produced in the current year

= $51.6666666667 x 2,000

= $103,333

Exact answer may slightly differ due to rounding off.
