Even preventive action should also planned so that next time when we encounter any such condition the action or decision making time should be reduced. Clinical judgments are decision based on facts and previous knowledge that is taken by team by understanding the risk and outcomes associated with it. In an interdisciplinary healthcare team each member of the team must support each other decision.

Critical thinking importance in coding and billing:

Logic and critical thinking are also important aspects of a medical billing career. During the process of coding and billing critical thinking can be helpful to take a decision that was based on evidence and facts during the time of handling unfavorable scenarios or condition. A medical coder should understand how to follow medical records and diagnoses and then decide how to best code them in the medical records. Critical thinking is very important to reach correct decisions and it can help you to analyze situations correctly and reach logical and rational conclusions. The person who had critical thinking can think logically and had rational approach, judgments based on strong reasoning. It can be developed through experience and by questioning and analyzing every argument and decision.
