Answer #1

From the above data set, we observed that all the values in the 2nd column are greater than the values of 4th column except the first values.

So we say that the mean of first group is greater than the mean of the second group.

So we conclude that the success of this experiment in supporting the hypothesis on the basis of visual comparison.

Part I: Between-Groups Design In the between-groups design, researchers were interested in whether cholesterol levels would differ depending on diet. Twenty participants were randomly assigned to one of two different groups. Group A was assigned a diet rich in fruits and vegetables and with no trans fats. Group B participants were asked to follow their normal diets, which contained varying levels of trans fats depending on the individual. After one month, blood samples were drawn and the following levels of...

The laboratory performed a comparison study of LDL-c values in 40 participants (40 samples are split so are considered matched or pairs) using two different analyzers, the Abbott and the Roche. The Abbott is considered the gold standard method used in many facilities and the Roche is new and of interest due to faster turn-around time and economical factors. The purpose of the comparison study is to determine if there is a significant difference in results by the two methods...
