The Block B will have its own weight as downward force and Tension as upward force.

For block A only tension is pulling force

writing force equations for both by newtons 2nd law

T = m1*a

m2*g - T = m2*a

solving these two equations we get

a = m2*g/(m1 + m2) = 4.354 m/s

T = m1*m2*g/(m1 + m2) = 18.59 N
