The three cost elements in manufacturing a product are
1) direct labour which includes all the payments and expenses made to to staff, labours , workers other people who are involved in manufacturing the product
2) material cost which includes payments made to to purchase the material for manufacturing the product
3) overheads which includes all the other expenses which are required in manufacturing the product like electricity bills, accounting expense,rent ,repairs, travel expenditure.
