Balancing equation in the presence of basic medium:
* separate the reaction into Oxidation Half Reaction (OHR) and Reduction Half Reaction (RHR)
* Balance other than oxygen and hydrogen atoms.
* To Balance the oxygen atoms add H2O.
* To Balance the hydrogen atoms add H+

* To balance H+ ions add OH- ions

* Combine H+ and OH- as H2O
* To Balance the charge add electrons
* Multiply the both equations with suitable coefficient to get the same number of electrons in both reactions
* Combine both oxidation and reduction half reaction.
