Loss of primary control refers to the difficulty an individual faces when he tries to adapt to the changing environment but is unable to do so due to certain factors.

A retired person who receives fixed incomes will be unable to meet his end meets when prices rise in the economy due to less sufficient income he receives.

Hence, this condition is known as a loss of primary control.
