Answer #1

1L = 1000mL
0800 - 1800hrs = 10hrs
0800 - 1400hrs = 6hrs
1600 - 1800hrs - 2hrs

1-what is the initial flow rate?

Formula = Volume to be infused / Time

1000mL / 10hrs = 100mL/hr

Inital flow rate is 100mL/hr

2-recalculalte the flow rate
600mL has been infused until 1400hrs, remaining is 1000mL - 600mL = 400mL which is yet to be infused. Remaiing time is 2hrs.

Formula = Volume to be infused / Time

400mL / 2hrs = 200mL/hr

Revised flow rate is 200mL/hr
