Answer: In the case of Euthanasia, the physician or the doctor is allowed to end life of patient to lower his pain. The doctor take this action on the request of the patient and their family. Whereas in physician assisted suicide, the physician assist or help the patient to commit suicide.

Euthanasia provides relief to tha patient from painful life as when there is no cure for the disease and patient is unable to bear more pain. It is kind of act which sets patient free from physical and mental pain. It also reduces the excessive burden on the patient and his family. Euthanasia is performed when the doctor understands that there is no use of medication that can treat patient's disease.
