legalized. In the US most of the cancer patients using this method
for killing themselves, this is due to loss of autonomy and
inability to enjoy life due to pain. even well-educated people
following this to escape from suffering. physician-assisted suicide
done by the physician by providing sleeping pills and lethal doses.
Than euthanasia, physician-assisted suicide will be difficult and
make serious social risk. the physician can comfort patients with
good communication and support, adequate pain control instead of
physician-assisted suicide.
There are many types of euthanasia as a legal and common one in
many countries.
Hippocratic oaths taking by all doctors which mention patient
safety and against euthanasia and physician-assisted suicide.
Nowadays the original oath is outdated, but in some countries like
Pakistan and Arab countries following this oath, they extend
patient life as much as possible.
US supreme court suggests euthanasia and physician-assisted suicide
is a legal one for the patient to make their own choice and
respecting patient autonomy because they suggest that the patient
knows their real suffering. In some countires this rules and laws
