SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat) analysis can be used to compare the strategic approaches regarding health care system of any foreign country to the US organizations strategic approaches and can affect its public sector.

Internal weakness factors : these are the negative factors that detract from the strengths and inhibits the growth. these factors have to be improved to remain in competition with other competitors.

example : Lack of financial capital, funds, trained human resources and highly advanced technology for the implementation of health insurance policy system and healthcare programs for any foreign country when compared to the strategic approaches of US organisations.

recommendation for overcoming this concern : sufficient funds should be arranged for the health care system by the government and private organisations of the foreign country. human resources of the country should be trained and skilled as per the standards of United States.

External threat factors : these are the external factors that we have no control over and have negative impacts on any system.

example : Introduction of any new disease that was not initially present in that country, by the foreign travellers entering that country.

recommendation for overcoming this concern : foreign travellers coming from other countries should be thoroughly screened for any disease. sufficient advisories should be released by the government for the travellers planning to visit the other countries having the outbreaks of any particular disease.
