1. Yes culture defines who we are as a person .

Culture are the learned beliefs, values, and customs that influence how we interpret experiences and how we behave individually, and in groups

it's the "lens" through which you view the world: what your see, how you make sense of what you see, and how you express yourself

the same person can belong to different cultures depending on his/her birthplace, nationality, ethnicity, family status, gender, age, language, education, sexual orientation, religion, profession/place of work.

2. Cultural beliefs has a major impact on the current state of our Healthcare system because culture is an important in terms of health based upon different cultures beliefs and practices.

1) culture is related to health behaviors

2) culture is an important determinant of people's perceptions of illness

3) culture affects usage of health services

Culture influences :-

Family, social groups, individual growth, communication, religion, art, politics, and the economy , lifestyle , eating habits health care practices

Cultures have different ideas about:

how to prevent problems, what health care they should seek, and the types of remedies that health providers should offer

Perceptions of illness:

1) vary across groups

2) one culture may view certain signs or symptoms as an affliction while others consider them normal

In all these way culture has an important impact on healthcare system .
