Since C=lambda*f

Also ,According to Hubble's Law,

We have the relation as

U=  Hod

Where U= velocity of a galaxy, in km/s

Ho = Hubble Constant, in km/s/Mpc approximately 500 km/s/Mpc or about 160 km/sec per million-light-years

d = distance of a galaxy, in Mpc (mega-parsecs)

We can impress the value of lambda in accordance with the distance of galaxy in the above formula and hence we can get our desired result.
