Here mia is our patient who is admitted in hospital and will have a surgery .so preoperative counselling and teaching must be provided to mia .before taking the patient to the operation theatre it is very necessary to give all the needed information to the client.client should be given all information about his surgery.discussion should be done in a way that the patient will understand.the health care personnel should not give any information that can influence patient's decision making process.the nurse should provide a preoperative counselling session for the client.she should give a period of time where the patient will listen all the information and he is encouraged for asking any doubt he has.
