If we focus on the Irish capacity planning, the Irish Government has undertaken make notable steps lately in the context to capacity planning to fill up the open grey areas that were hampering their national productivity in various sectors. Let us discuss a few of them below.
The Irish Government had adopted a five-step capacity planning approach in the various Sectors as they were facing tremendous issues in the overall maintaining of these sectors of the country:
a) The Health department needs to analyses the external and internal environment which also includes the key policies, both current and future needs of the health sector. The health sector is a critical sector that must have the required number of resources which must be properly managed to be ready 24 hours in a day to meet any emergency situation throughout the country. Proper care should be taken to see that resources in this sector are well paid to ensure their full dedication towards the up keep of the Health sector of the country.
b) The officials sector should pay extra attention to the hiring of new efficient resources in the various government sectors. There have been recently a huge crisis of the Government employees owing to the lees up keep of the Government sector. The officials should ensure that their training is well organized and arranged, and proper engagement of those resources in the various departments of the Government can be properly achieved. They should also focus on the reason for the attrition of the resources and work towards the reduction of attrition of the resources and their wage policies to be well defined and looked after.
c) A critical wing of the Government functionable sectors is the HR sector. The Officials should ensure that the HR department of the Government gets new fresh and enthusiast resources who are well capable to hiring the best resources for the best Jobs. The HR resources should be imparted with proper training modules and through knowledge of the functioning of the various Government wings. Career guidance training for these resources is a must, as they would later be the guiding light for the innumerable resoles that the Government plans to hire.
d) A specific wing of the Government must be created to monitor and evaluate the proper functionality of all the sectors of the Government. They should be well equipped in audit responsibilities. Proper care must be taken by this team to ensure that all the other sectors in the country are working according to the laws of the nation and that the proper and optimal utilization of the resources in every sector is being properly achieved.
e) The Solutions to the various issues arising out of the sectors should be properly addressed the Government authorities, in an impartial and judicial manner. No sector should be left out of the development initiatives of the Government. Proper facilitation of adequate funds to the various sectors should be managed and ensured that the funds are being judiciously utilized.
Answer (2) : SDG stands for Sustainable Development Goals. The policies adopted above were critical because the Government sector of the country was facing huge gap in the sustainable development. The economy was slowly looming. Therefore, these policies were much needed relief for the Government. These policies undertaken would ensure that the Gaps in the system are being filled. All those resources who are a burden on the sectoral growth must be removed and fresh faces to be hired who could put in enthusiasm in to their respective sectors. Assurance was also given that there would be wings which would take care of the proper training facilities of the resources and proper auditing would be done. It was ensued that the wages of the resources are timely paid off so as to ensure that the resources are dedicated to their work and responsibilities. When all these sectors of the Government work towards the cumulative responsibilities of their sectors, it I imperative that the economy would start moving up and the loop holes in the various shortcomings would be removed. A sustainable and long-term growth of the economy can be achieved owing to the proper implementation and functioning of these goals. In the longer run, the economy has possibilities to recreate the balance of trade , thereby ensuring that country’s growth is in equilibrium.
