The main difference between the both is that pharmacokinetics is the study which deals with how the drug move into our body system from oral consumption/injection to excretion whereas Pharmacodynamics is the study that deals with what does the drug do to our body ,its action and the effects of it.

2. In patient's point of view, complementary and alternative medicines are out of medical line.Complementary are taken along with allopathy whereas alternative can be taken alone. Eg. Massage, herbs, accupuncture, yoga, deep breathing, chinese, tai chi,etc

3. There are many but one of the most common is the self prescription medication "Acetaminophen". People can get addicted to its pain relieving effects mostly in chronic pain. It can cause renal as well as hepatic injuries
