The pharmacodynamics is the action of the drug on the body. It involves the interaction between the human body and drug. It also includes the action of the drug on the microbes that may cause infection or disease.

The complementary and alternative medicines in the patient's point of view as due to some of the traditional values and beliefs they rely on these medicines. Patients have trust in alternative medicines for their specific treatment. They also includes trust on the natural treatment.

The drug abuse causes severe diseases and abnormalities in the body and brain. The substance abuse such as heroin causes many abnormalities in the body. The impact of heroin on body such as slow heart rate, vomiting, nausea etc.
