1. Maria is a 21 year old single mother of two. She has been having issues with her supervisors. She wants to contact the corporate office to report her supervisors but she is having second thoughts about making the call. Discuss one specific protection that she has being an employee at McDonald.
2. Nurses must abide by their scope of practice but also by their code of ethics. Discuss one reason that a nurse may be disciplined and what are the remedies the nurse may seek to resolve the issue?
3. Discuss one specific way a patient may give consent and the limitations of that form of consent.

Answer: There are several laws that provides rights to the employees. Some of the laws includes such as right to healthcare, right to equality in the organization etc. Employees can use their rights when there is need. One of the specific protection that Maria has being an employee at McDonald as she can use the rights that includes Discrimination, harassment and retaliation.

Nursing profession is a lifelong learning process. This enables them to deliver quality of care to the patients. Nurse need to indulge code of ethics in their practice because this ethics creates a platform to deliver quality of care to the patients. Autonomy, repecting the difference, beneficence, as well as no harm to the patients etc involves in the code of ethics. Nurse should indulge themselves to provide better treatment to the patients. Nurse should eliminate the risk of medical errors, negligence etc.

It is important to obtain consent form from the patients. This allow the patient to understand the treatment, procedures etc that he will be undergoing further. A signed consent form act as a proof that the patient is agree with the treatment procedures. The limitations of the consent form is that patient's decision making ability is overwhelmed.
