Answer #1

200 milliliters of 20% Magnesium sulfate (MgSO4) solution will contain 40 grams of the solute Magnesium sulfate.

20% Magnesium sulfate (MgSO4) solution means 20 ml of  Magnesium sulfate is dissolved in water to make up the volume to 100 ml.

NOTE-- 1ML = 1 GRAM.(so 20 ml of Magnesium sulfate is equal to 20 grams of Magnesium sulfate)

so 100 ml contains 20 grams of Magnesium sulfate. So, to get 40 grams of Magnesium sulfate 200 ml is required.

100 ml = 20 grams

X = 40 grams

X =40 * 100 / 20

X = 200 ml of 20% Magnesium sulfate (MgSO4) solution will contain 40 grams of the solute Magnesium sulfate.
