mass of the block  m = 20kg

A = 30

Coefficient of kinetic friction  μα = 0.3

Length of the plane = 10m

Now,

Part - a

The free body diagram of the given problem is as shown below:

Normal force frictional force mg sin theta mg cos theta mgPart - b

Normal force can be found out by using Newton's second law of motion, thus

N = mgcos

by plugging all the values we get

N = (20kg) (9.8m/s)cos(30°)

which gives us

N = 169.741N

The frictional force is given by

thus

f = (0.3) (169.741N)

which gives us

f = 50.9223N
