Answer #1

Zn in Zn+2 has oxidation state of +2
Zn in Zn has oxidation state of 0
So, Zn in Zn+2 is reduced to Zn
Hence Zn2+ is oxidising agent

Cl in Cl2 has oxidation state of 0
Cl in ClO3- has oxidation state of +5
So, Cl in Cl2 is oxidised to ClO3-
Hence Cl2 is reducing agent

Answer:
name of the element oxidised = Chlorine
name of the element reduced = Zinc
Formula of oxidising agent = Zn2+
Formula of reducing agent = Cl2
