Answer: Nurses provide quality of care to the patients and they develop a mutual relationship of care with the patients. They play an important role as they helps in designing and managing patient care. The nurse executives bear the responsibility of financial accountability within healthcare organizations. Nurses executive carry out other duties such as hiring and training staff, undertaking financial responsibility, and resolving issues within an organization and also handle the administrative work in healthcare. Nurse executive needs to delegate as it helps in breaking the monotony of the subordinates so that they can be more creative and efficient and serve quality of care. Nurse executives have so much responsibilities that if there would be no delegation then there would be failure on the job i.e. there will be lack of better performance. Ineffective delegation can lead to missed care and negative patient outcomes. Nurse executives communicate and build up a relationship with the physicians which may also help the healthcare organization and they also facilitate conflict resolution, discussions, and create a trustworthy environment.
