Question is lengthy I am giving answer of first 2 question s.
Answer of question no. 1.
A) Pam should listen Felix's husband without argument and make her also clear that Renee will be punished for that as per hospital rules & Regulations. It is clear that temperature might have increased during Renee's shift but it is not proved that the infection is due to negligencne of Renee's because that infection should have incubation period of atleast around 6 hrs. So detection of infection is in Renee's shift but infection could be occur prior and despite after utmost care. Infection is most common complication which can be occur after surgical operation. Patient is also been aware in written and consent is been taken that he/she is ready to take risk. So in case of Felix there is delay in starting the management of infection. As well as well Pam should manage to start treatment of infection. And compensate the expenditures.
Bruce have been investigated the complaint and in resolution of compkaico she can reject, compensate and apologize for the complaint. As it is obvious mistake of Renee it can not be reject. She apologize as well as compensate the expenditure for infection management.
B) Disregarding the patient's complaint is unethical. Patient may file petition and demand of compensation from the court of law.
