1. Nursing care plan and process :-

It's a systematic process of patient care which includes five steps . The steps are :-

- nursing process assessment

gathering patient care data through observation, interviews, and physical assessment

-primary data (patient interview)

-secondary data (what family, friends, health care prof, or written sources tell you)

-subjective date (symptoms, health history; what patient says)

-objective data (signs, physical exam, lab results, diagnostic test results)

- nursing process diagnosis

analyze, validate, and cluster patient data to identify patient problems

types:

-actual (problem, etiology, symptoms)

-risk (what could happen)

-health-promotion (nursing diagnostic label & defining characteristics)

- nursing process planning

prioritize the nursing diagnoses and identifies short/long term goals that are realistic, measurable, and patient focused, w/ specific outcome identification for evaluation process

-prioritize

-personal care plans (short/long term goals)

- nursing process implementation

initiate specific nursing interventions and treatments designed to help the patient achieve established goals or outcomes

- nursing process evaluation

determine whether the patient's goals are met, examine the effectiveness of interventions, and decide whether the plan of care should be discontinued, continued, or revised.

2. Time management for RN :-

- stay organized and systematic

- as the day begins, plan/prioritize

- gather supplies and equipment

- group activities

- estimate time for tasks

- chart as you go

- delegate appropriately

- take breaks

- adjust priorities throughout the day and ASK FOR HELP AS NEEDED

3. Intradepartmental communication is the communication within the same department and interdepartmental communication is the communication between two different departments.

6. RN role :-

- Practice within the ethical, legal, and regulatory framework of nursing and standards of professional nursing practice.

- Report unsafe practices of healthcare providers using appropriate channels of communication.

- Demonstrate accountability for nursing care given by self and/or delegated to others.

- Use standards of nursing practice to perform and evaluate patient care.

- Advocate for patient rights.

- Maintain organizational and patient confidentiality.

- Practice within the parameters of individual knowledge and experience.
