1.Questions can ask:

How the incident occur?

Ask the location of the pain area?

Ask the client to describe the characteristics of pain ?

2.Observations:

Assess the injured area for redness , swelling and for any other abnormalities.

3.Palpation:

Palpation should be perform in the outer part of the foot especially in the posteriorly between the foot and the calf muscle.Because it can be pernoeal tendonitis .It occurs especially for the athelets due to the excess running the tendon gets damage due to more pressure over the area.So the location of the palpation is peroneal tendon.

4.Special Test:

USG, MRI and CT are the significant tests to identify the injury.
