  1. Lavender EDTA collection tube is used to specimen collection for CBC. Other articles are clean tray containing2ml syringe with needle, kidney tray, cotton and kidney tray for waste disposal.
  2. Here lavender EDTA collection tube, 22or 23g needle or 23or25butterfly needle are uesd for blood collection in pediatrics.other article mentioned above and 2ml syringe.
  3. Electrolyte collected from red collection tube. It is a plain bottle.
  4. Anticoagulant inhibit the amylase activity except heparin. So take the blood from the hand and collection tube is yellow tube or red tube.Should not taken to mix with blood. Blood drawn 4ml.so use 5ml syringe.
  5. Blues collection tube is for sample collection of PT. Blue vacute contains buffered sodium citrate anticoagulant
  6. A clean tray contains red collection tube ( cross matching and typing ), 5ml syringe, tourniquet, cotton ball, kidney tray.
  7. Avoid the fragile vein for collection of blood. Use infrared vein finder to assess the vein. Collection tube is black top (3.8%sodium citrate )or lavender top for ESR. Cardiac profile collection tube is red.
  8. A clean tray contains 22or 23gneedle and tourniquet, cotton for cleaning the site, 2ml syringe, kidney tray and red collection tube.
  9. Lavender EDTA tube for CBC, APTT light blue (sodium citrate 3.2%) and Grey (sodium fluoride and potassium oxalate ) for FBS.
