Answer #1

Case 1 - The possible cause of her extreme distress is anxiety about the operation .

Case 2 - I will explain the patient about the procedure and the time it would take to finish . He is anxious about the procedure that will the procedure will be successful or not . Yes ,he is expressing his concerns through his question.

Case 3 - The patient is a child , ofcourse he will scream out when he sees that no one known to him is there with him . It a normal child's reaction out of fear . When he kicks I won't do anything ,I wi try my best to make him calm and relax .The child is experiencing fear . If he doesn't gets calm then either will use anestheic drugs or restraints according to physician order .

Case -4 Response - The doctor will be here in few seconds . Everything will be fine . Don't be anxious and be relaxed . We will do our best to have you both safe .
