Answer #1

Vegans are at the risk of vitamin B12 deficiency. Vitamin B12 deficiency is seen among vagan pregnant women. It plays an important role in developing the fetus. The main source of this vitamin is animal sourced foods. It is present in meat, fish and dairy products. So the vegan pregnant women rarely get the vitamin.

Omega 3 fatty acid deficiency is also seen among vegans. The nutrient is mainly found in fish and egg.

Iron in plants can't be absorbed by the body easily. So iron deficiency is also seen among vegan pregnant women.
