Answer- 1- TESTS PERFORMED IN HODGKIN LYMPHOMA

​​​​​. (i) physical examination- physician check for swalloen lymph nodes ,including in neck, underarm and groin area .Also examine for swalloen liver and spleen.

  (ii) Blood tests- blood test to examine any indication of possibility of cancer.

  (iii) X- Rays , CT scan and positron emission tomography- to look for sign of hodgkin's lymphoma in other parts of the body.

(iv) Lymph node biopsy - in this lymph node remove for laboratory testing. If abnormal cells called Reed Sternberg cells are found that it diagnose classical Hodgkin's lymphoma.

  (V) Bone marrow biopsy or aspiration-inserting a needle into the hip bone to remove a sample of bone marrow.The sample is examined to look for Hodgkin's lymphoma cells.
