Methods to disseminate information relating to work roles and organizational policies

The parameters of the of the organization or the scope of the organization within which it has to work or the organizational activities has to be carried on are called as organizational policies. Every organization will have their own organizational policies and all the members, whether Staff members, waged labor, managerial staff, or even the administrative staff like CEO, CFO or Director of the Organization has to perform their organizational activities, only within the scope of the organizational policies.

So, it is very important and also mandatory to inform all these organizational policies to the all levels of management of the organization.

At the same time one should know about his work or about his role in the organization. That is nothing but, what he has to do or for which he is employed and what work was assigned to him.

In order to communicate all these information relating to work rolls and organizational policies, top management has to communicate all those information to respective staff members or respective departments.

  The following are the three important methods that can be used by the organization to disseminate information relating to organizational policies and work rolls.

  1. Department wise Quarterly meeting with staff members
  2. Asking for suggestions regarding new organizational policies
  3. Providing updated electronic hand books for reference to work rolls and organizational policies.

Department wise Quarterly meeting with staff members:- Organization has to conduct a meeting for a fixed time period regularly (i.e Quarterly) to inform the staff members of organization about the new policies going to be implemented , by the top management. And at the same time any amendments to the old policies shall also be informed to them in that meeting.

Asking for suggestions regarding new organizational policies :- During the meeting or before conducting the meeting it is preferable to ask suggestions from the employees of the organization or to present their ideas in the form of any presentations regarding the new policies. This procedure creates a informal communication about the policies that are to be implemented in the organization and they will disseminate easily and fast in to the members of the organization.

Providing updated electronic hand books for reference to work rolls and organizational policies:- It is one of the important method of informing the new policies and work rolls to the members of the organization. By providing updated electronic book which is conducted with the server of the organization which can be updated whenever there is an amendment to the work roll or organizational policy or a new policy was introduced. We can also ask and receive suggestion through online or by E mail from the employees.

In this way we can disseminate information relating to organizational policies and work rolls with in the organization.
