if a 15uL patient sample is added to 90uL of diluent,

the ratio = 15/90

= 0.166 (ration in terms of solute/solvent

Final Volume / Solute Volume = DF (Dilution factor)

Final volume = 15 + 90 uL

= 105 uL

105uL/ 15 uL

= 7 times
