To whom it may concern,

Hello, I need help with this question:

Question: An aluminum cup of 0.20 liter capacity is filled with mercury at 14.0 degrees Celsius. How much mercury, if any, will spill out of the cup if the temperature is raised to 25.0 degrees Celsius? The coefficient of volume expansion of mercury is 1.82 E-04/ degree Celsius. Express your answer in cubic centimeters.

I am having some difficulty picturing this. Which formula should I use? I think I have to use the Thermal expansion in three dimesions which is: Change in "V" = B*Vi* "T" change in temp

Please let me know when you can.

Thank you!
