Management is the process of leading and directing an organization to meet its goal through the use of appropriate resources. Leadership is the act of influencing and motivating a group of people in the same direction towards achieving a common goal. These two are very essential for a nurse to achieve their goal. Nurse should have strong communication and leadership skills. They can maintain a balance between health care staff and patient. It help the nurse to function as team. Nurse leader should maintain interpersonal relationship with the patient, doctors and other health care staff and provide the care to patient effectively to enhance the positive outcomes.
