Bronx ate 2500kcal yesterday and expended 2000kcal through physical activity and her basal metabolic rate. Which answer best describes Bronx's energy balance status and the consequences of that status.

Bronx is in positive energy balance. This is only one day, it doesn't matter that Bronx was in positive energy balance especially if she was honoring her hunger and fullness cues.

Bronx is in negative energy balance. This is only one day, it doesn't matter that Bronx was in negative energy balance especially if she was honoring her hunger and fullness cues.

Bronx is in positive energy balance. She will likely gain weight even if her tracking was inaccurate and this was only one day.

Bronx is in negative energy balance. She will likely gain weight even if her tracking was inaccurate and this was only one day.

Answer #1

When the intake calorie is more than the output calorie it is termed to be positive balance. Here the individual has less expenditure of calories than intake so Bronx is in positive energy balance.

If the positive energy balance is continued for a certain period of time the weight may increase.

When the output calorie is more than the intake it is termed to be negative energy balance and overtime can lead to weight loss.

Ans:Bronx is in positive energy balance. She will likely gain weight even if her tracking was inaccurate and this was only one day
