The common nutrition problems associated with myocardial infarction are metabolic disorder ,a

abnormal Weight gain,atherosclerosis ,digestive problems

This can be managed by the following way

Hypocaloric diet of 2000kcsl/day

low carbohydrate diet

​DASH diet

Mediterranean diet

increase foods containing ascorbic acid,potassium and lipotropic substances

eating 6 times a day in acute phase

then 5 times a day from 2nd week to 8th week

iif not parenteral nutrition to be given.
