Process Evaluation documents the process of how the program is implemented. It lists resources used, actual problems faced and how they were solved. It helps to determine quality of an organization.

Outcome evaluation is used to determine effectiveness of a program. It is done by asking questions to participants regarding the program and its effectiveness from their point of view. Conclusion of outcome evaluation helps to determine if the program was beneficial and which aspects of the program were responsible for it.
