Bone is less dense than normal bones,not so heavily built like normal healthy bone	bone tissue in menopausal women is usually not keeping up the production with the lost bone tissue.As a result bone density lessened and the bones usually become brittle, a minor injury or fall may cause fracture of the porous bone	Osteomalacia   means keeping bones away from mineralizing, or hardening,and it becomes soft,inspite of hard, as they should. As a result bones easily break, here the defect is in mineralization of bone and thus hardening.In child it is called ricket
But not easily breakable like osteoporosed bone,medical condition that causes it is steroid overuse, untreated coeliac disease, exposure to gabapentine and repeated exposure to radiation	some faulty calcium depleting diet ,medication smoking are the risk factors for osteoporosis along with elderly woman	Pregnant women sometimes show the defect
