Conclusion
Pre-Columbian Mesoamerican people of central Mexico in the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries belong to aztec culture. Tenochtitlan, built on raised island in Lake Texcoco was the capital of aztec people. Aztecs wanted to improve the quality of their lives. They adopted an agricultural system of farming called the Chinampas. and in a short period of time, Tenochtitlan which was a marshy island with limited resources was transformed into a fertile and highly productive island.They grew to greatest powers in 12th and 13th century A.D.Brief description of them were not present because of lack of written records. Great famine, repeated attacks and deadly diseases were causes for decline of people of tenochtitlan who were called mexicas.
The Aztec society had three classes: slaves, commoners, and nobility. Nobility or pilli, then the common people or macehualli,Slaves or tlacotin.
Food of aztecs tlaxcalli.They discovered chocolates and made it from fruit of cocoa tree.
Aztec economy ,political sector, under the control of nobles and kings, and a commercial sector that operated independently of the political sector. The political sector of the economy centered on the control of land and labor by kings and nobles.
Education was compulsory for boys and girls.The Mexicas part of Aztec groups are first people to provide mandatory education for nearly all children, regardless of gender, rank, or station.
Human sacrifice was the most striking feature of Aztec civilization.Nahuatl is the language spoken by aztecs.They used pictographs too for communication.
Aztec people are collectivistic. They were uncivilized and borrowed much of their culture from the ancient Toltec.
