The correct answers are as follows :

Revenue recognized Upon Completion
Situation 2018 2019 2020
6 -1,85,000 -1,45,000 -2,30,000
Calculation of 2018 Loss :
Total estimated costs = 630+5855 = 6485
Total revenue = 6300
Loss = 6485-6300 = 185,000 $
Calculation of 2019 Loss :
Total estimated costs = 630+3130+2870 = 6630
Total revenue = 6300
Loss = 6630-6300 = 330,000 $
Loss already recognized in 2018 = 185,000 $
Loss to be recognized in 2019 = 330,000-185,000 = 145,000 $
Calculation of 2020 Loss :
Total costs at end of contract = 630+3130+3100 = 6860
Total revenue = 6300
Loss = 6860-6300 = 560,000 $
Loss already recognized in 2018 and 2019 = 330,000$
Loss to be recognized in 2019 = 560,000-330,000 = 230,000 $
