Answer #1

Answer:-

According to William Masters and Virginia Johnson The sexual response cycle has four phases: excitement, plateau, orgasm, and resolution.

  • Phase 1: Excitement

It last from a few minutes to several hours, include the following:

  • Heart rate quickens and breathing is accelerated.
  • Nipples become hardened.
  • The woman's breasts become fuller and the genitalia walls begin to swell.
  • Genitalia lubrication started.
  • Phase 2: Plateau

It include the following:

  • The changes begun in phase 1 are intensified.
  • The genitalia of women continues to swell from increased blood flow, and the walls turn a dark purple.
  • The genitalia becomes highly sensitive (may even be painful to touch).
  • Breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure continue to increase.
  • Muscle spasms may begin in the feet, face, and hands.
  • Muscle tension increases.
  • Phase 3: Orgasm

It is the shortest of the phases and generally lasts only a few seconds

  • Involuntary muscle contractions begin.
  • Blood pressure, heart rate, and breathing are at their highest rates, with a rapid intake of oxygen.
  • Muscles in the feet spasm.
  • There is a sudden, forceful release of sexual tension.
  • The muscles of the genitalia contract. The uterus also undergoes rhythmic contractions.
  • A rash, or "sex flush" may appear over the entire body.
  • Phase 4: resolution
  • the body slowly returns to its normal level of functioning, and swelled and erect body parts return to their previous size and color.

other models of sexual response cycle are:-

1. Another model is the incentive-motivation model. The model explains that the desire for sex comes from an interaction between a sensitive sexual response system and stimuli that are present in the environment.

2. Helen Singer Kaplan

  • She proposed her model of the sexual response cycle which includes three phases: desire, excitement, and orgasm. She argues that these three phases are interconnected.

3.In 1997, Beverly Whipple and Karen Brash-McGreer developed a circular model of women’s sexual responsesI

4. In 2001, Rosemary Basson published a nonlinear model of female sexual response.

Researchers who have contributed to this research body including are:-

    4. From a research paper: “Although sexual reproduction has proven to be highly successful, parthenogenetic all-female populations occur frequently in certain taxa, including the whiptail lizards of the genus Aspidoscelis.” “True parthenogenesis, characterized by the complete absence of male contributions, has been described for various species of reptiles, including whiptail lizards, geckos, blind snakes, and rock lizards.” In your own words, define “parthenogenesis.” Several observations suggest that two closely-related, sexually-reproducing species of lizards interbred to produce the (new) parthenogenetic species....
