I think we don't prioritize it too much. E. G many European countries like Uk provide universal health insurance from public funds. We can spend less on defence and more on education and health because they increase human capital and will also provide better defense in longrun. However the main stress should be on utilizing resources efficiently.Funds spent already on health care are not being utilized in best manner

The number one reason that the United States spends twice as much on healthcare per person compared to other countries is because drugs cost more, doctors get paid more and hospital and diagnostic tests cost more. How does this fact resonate with you?
