YES, I agree that America has so many lawsuits. Our country is said to be the land of the free and home of the litigious lawsuits. I would blame individuals instead of lawyers for it. Majority of people who threaten frivolous or baseless lawsuits do not follow through. They are simply vindictive, frustrated, and cannot think of an approach to vent their discomfort besides threatening others. For few individuals’ people, the knee-jerk reaction to conflict would be threatened for a lawsuit. Such sort of people would threaten to sue others for trespass when the vines in their backyard grow by an inch over their precious property line. There would be others who threaten to sue for intentional infliction of emotional distress when any other person dares to criticize them in any approach. For some people, it is common to sue for assault and battery when the other's trip and inadvertently brush against their. They would probably sue the harassment and discrimination when you argue with them
We can certainly avoid these increasing numbers of lawsuits. A local attorney can be consulted to or search for local law schools and inquire for free clinics because it may help to avoid trial. Try to settle the case out of court, an apology for any wrong doings, putting an effort to compromise as much as you can without sacrificing the dignity, and try to empathize toward the others. Moreover people filing the baseless or frivolous lawsuits must remember that it is not an affordable approach to seek redress for their injuries
