Design an advertising brochure/ booklet that could be used to promote a high quality childhood education and care service. The aim of the brochure/ booklet is to increase enrolments. The brochure should be detailed and visually attractive. The brochure/ booklet should be written in plain English so that all parents/ families will understand it.

The brochure/ booklet must include information about:

  • how shared thinking and collaborative learning are encouraged and why they are important
  • how the service ensures that different types of families and cultures are included
  • how children are taught about the natural environment
  • how children and families are consulted about important decisions that might affect them
  • how children and families are consulted about curriculum design
  • the service’s philosophy
  • the type of information collected about children and what it is used for

  • what holistic learning is, why it is important and the way the service ensures that it occurs
  • how children’s learning/ progress is monitored
  • how the interests and learning styles of children are catered to
  • the way the physical environment is arranged

  • what co-constructing meaning is and how educators and children do this
  • what learning dispositions are and how they are encouraged
  • how educators ensure that children have a voice
  • how educators reflect on their teaching methods
  • how feedback is collected from children and how this is used to ensure continuous improvement

High-Quality Childhood Education and Care

Every child has the right to receive quality education and care, do not deprive your child of this right.

  • We offer shared thinking and collaborative learning, the best method suggested by many child psychologists, to encourage and develop a socially-oriented and interactive child. We have only limited seats, three students are made into a group and each 3-child group is taken care of by an Education and Care Executive.
  • We ensure that different types of families and cultures are included in each group. If possible, it will be based on their ethnicity. For example, a group would have an African-American child, an Asian child, and a Hispanic child who belong to different strata of society.
  • We give much importance in teaching children about the natural environment. They are given an hour of 'play and learn' class in the garden, where they learn watering of plants, sowing seeds, feeding pets etc.
  • Children and families are consulted about important decisions like subjects of interest and method of teaching that might affect them.
  • We don't make any decisions without your or your kid's consent. We design the curriculum based on your/your kid's needs and your kid's IQ.
  • We have a superior service philosophy compared to many of our peers. For us, each kid is different and his/her educational/care needs are different. So we don't have a common care pattern or syllabus for all kids.
  • Different types of information are collected about the children and it is used to decide his/her syllabus and care needs. Other than this, the details of the parents are collected. Child details like date of birth, blood group, IQ level, EQ level etc are collected and are considered for curriculum design and care pattern.
  • We address different areas of development and emotional, intellectual, psychological levels of various screens/tests are used for curriculum development. Behavioral and abilities assessment is also conducted with BASC scale and McCarthy scales of abilities.
  • We offer holistic learning, where we engage students in the teaching/learning process and encourage personal and collective responsibility. This is really important as it encourages the multi-faceted development of a child at a younger age.
  • We have our own methods to monitor children’s learning/ progress. We use a weekly assessment tool, which is used to measure the progress that a child has made in various aspects. In fact, our assessment tool is considered as the best one for this purpose and is used by many similar institutions. This assessment tool is given to the executive in charge of the child who records everything.
  • We have one of the best child psychologists, whom we depend on for the overall development of a child. The interests and learning styles of children are catered to based on our child psychologist's biweekly report with the help of a team consisting of a teacher executive, a care assistant, a nutritionist, and a pediatrician. Children who show interest in plants will be directed in a plant-based curriculum, those with interest in computers and technology will be given a tech-based curriculum etc.
  • The physical environment is arranged in a child-friendly way without any pointed objects, open sockets, open cupboards, dust, etc. Our play area has 2 child care assistants. Our shallow pool is fenced and has only one entrance, which is guarded by a pool assistant. The play area has a layer of foam on the ground, to prevent any hurtful falls. Every nook and corner is child-proofed and is checked twice a day by the safety manager. Our garden has a variety of plants, birds, rabbits etc, based on which lessons are created. Our tech lab has all the facilities required for the development of a little tech or scientist. We use noise-proofing in our classrooms.
  • Educators interact with children when playing by asking them questions about a particular game of interest. They are given the details of a particular game for 5 days and questions based on this are asked and responses are rated.
  • For us, co-constructing means learning from coexistence and cooperation. So we choose our staff very carefully and give them months of training. Children learn a lot from the staff; from their behavior, their attitude towards work, how they do their work etc.
  • For us, learning dispositions are really important and so we encourage interactive learning.
  • We make sure that every child is being listened to and is encouraged to speak and interact with educators. We make sure each child's voice is unique and is heard. Educators help them to develop oratory skills by asking them questions that encourage them to speak.
  • Educators reflect on their teaching methods by assessing students and their monthly teaching assessment reports.
  • We collect feedback from children and parents. This is done by the supervisor in the weekly teacher feedback reports. This is used to ensure continuous improvement by discussing and correcting the teachers and providing additional training if required.
  • We adhere to Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) conditions by showing mutual respect, by providing caring and positive relationships, by appreciating each child, by engaging and interacting with children etc. We are unique in all aspects and if you want your child to be unique, choose us for his/her early years.
