Answer #1

I am considering the case of Jio Telecommunications in India which changed the pattern how telecom companies used to charge for internet packs. They entered the market with internet packs 10X cheaper than other competitors. Jio initially was the substitute good for customers, as its prices were less, they gained customers before any other company change their prices.. This created havoc for other companies as they lose they customers and started loosing. Other firms also lowered their prices within months to let their customers go off. Withing three months of launch of Jio, internet packs became cheaper which raised the overall consumption of internet and eventually the market demand for it rises.
