Answer #1

mass(C7H5O2Na)= 1.9 g

use:

number of mol of C7H5O2Na,

n = mass of C7H5O2Na/molar mass of C7H5O2Na

=(1.9 g)/(1.44*10^2 g/mol)

= 1.319*10^-2 mol

volume , V = 20 mL

= 2*10^-2 L

use:

Molarity,

M = number of mol / volume in L

= 1.319*10^-2/2*10^-2

= 0.6597 M

Answer: 0.66 M
