Answer #1

Single health insurance is the insurance coverage that covers all people such that they have access to essential care regardless of what they earn or their ability to pay.

The economic rationale behind single payer health insurance is that it reduces the inequality and provides access to health insurance to all. Inequality has always being a major problem in many economies and it increases when the poor are unable to afford healthcare. Basic amenities like healthcare, clean water, food etc are also unaffordable and this affects their health and reduces their earnings.

Also when there is a single payer, there would be less inefficiencies and the employment would increase since the goal would be to include all the people in the healthcare.

This will also lower the burden on government and would help increase the infrastructure and employment as stated.
