A team of cavers found an opening in the ground that seems to go straight down

A team of cavers found an opening in the ground that seems to go straight down, but they can't see how far To find this out before they risk descent, they drop a rock down the hole and listen for the sound of the rock hitting bottom. Assume that the vertical drop down the hole is 193 m.

a- How long would it take for the rock to hit bottom?

b- Sound travels through air at a constant speed of 340 m's. How long would it take for the sound of the rock hitting bottom to travel up to the edge of the hole?
