In Titration Thief method , Thief is actually an eyedropper.

In this method we take 0.5ml of the solution to be titrated out of the vessel with the eyedropper. Then titrate the remaining solution to the end point. Then the solution inside the eyedropper will be added to the vessel, which will change the indicator color back to that prior to the end point. After that we can titrate the total vessel contents to the final point.

By doing this we will reduce the chance of error in the end point.
